VEGETABLE SALAD

Done with your high carb, high fat foods ? .....want to giv ur intestine a break ?...go for a nice crunchy salad for lunch or dinner..make it sweet or salty or even spicy... Do whatever you enjoy ...

1 cup grated lettuce/cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrots
12 rings onions
12 rings banana peppers
1/4 tsp black pepper
add jaggery or salt
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

add all the above in a bowl..toss them..
(get cheese blocks from store, grate them and store in airtight boxes...they add the crunchiness and flavor to ur salad that is missing in the pregrated parmesan)

mix them well..there u go ..a tasty and healthy food rite in front of u ..

TIPS:
this makes a healthy snack/ dinner / lunch... prepare them in advance and refrigerate...eat them when u want to munch sumthing... i bet this is not the tasteless salad u r thinking of :)
